Very friendly and welcoming staff who were helpful and cheerful without exception.
Nice rooms, although we booked 2 singles, we were each given a room with a double and single bed so plenty of space. Free Wi-Fi. Excellent cooked breakfast. Good location for visiting Aberglasny Garden, The National Botanical Garden of Wales and a National Trust castle just across the road.

The Baltic was a lovely find - great staff - always willing to help and assist - nothing too much trouble. The family room we stayed in was a good size with all the facilities that you would need for a break (with brilliant power shower). The food at the Inn was also great - tasty food and good portion sizes - loved the help yourself salad bar. Would definitely visit the Baltic again. Exceptional value for money.

Good parking, warm welcome. Nice size room and bathroom, clean and not dated. Good breakfast and evening meal with plenty of room between tables.
All on one level so no stairs to climb.
Bus and trains into the town just a short walk away.
A taxi into town for not much more than two train or bus tickets so the car had a holiday, bonus.
A customer orientated, dynamic and focused family run hotel.

Great atmosphere, and lovely friendly staff. The rooms were wonderful. We were so taken with the hotel, we extended our stay - which the staff managed for us perfectly. The restaurant was excellent, and a nice place for an evening. The bar likewise, good ales and wine, and the atmosphere of a good pub (with a great terrace too, if the sun's shining) - perfect. The breakfasts were great too.

We stayed at the Golden Lion Inn in May as part of our trip around the UK.The pub was excellent and appears to be doing very well considering the number of people eating and drinking at it. The room and facilities were excellent and the food very good although it was a bit hard to find a seat if you have not made a reservation for dinner. The staff were very friendly and made you feel welcome even though they were very busy. Highly Recomended.

The hotel itself is comfortabel and has a very friendly, warm atmosphere. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Harp and will be using this hotel again on my next visits to Wales. For me, as a female solo traveller on business, The Harp ticks all the boxes in terms of a clean, modern, comfortable room with a high quality bathroom and fabulous food. The owners are very hospitable and clearly take a lot of pride in the establishment which is kept very clean with lots of attention to detail. The room was a good size and the bathroom was updated and modern. The bar/lounge area and restaurant are very comfortable and nicely decorated.The food and service were excellent.
