Was given a choice of well appointed rooms. Attention to detail in everything. Superb linen, thick fluffy towels. Loved the use of a Nespresso machine to add to the feel of quality n style to the experience.

This was exceptional value for money, very modern and stylish with great facilitys, spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds and pillows, everything we needed was provided, the owner Tony couldnt do enough for us. very close to great restaurants and pubs all within walking distance. I would recomend this great B and B, very close to Dartmoor for fantastic walking. check it out, thank you Tony.

Loved our room at the top, with added bonus of sink, microwave and fridge! We have a little cocker spaniel so this was ideal for preparing her food, also as we were tired and didn't fancy going out to eat, we could heat up a ready meal in our room. Bed so comfy, nice big TV, bathroom lovely with great shower. Breakfast nice, Carla and the staff absolutely lovely. Will be back!

My criteria for this trip were simply: economical; close to train station; WiFi and ideally with breakfast. 5-out-of-5 all round for this place and the bonus of welcoming and friendly landlady and landlord was doubleplusgood. Breakfast well worth getting up for, clean and comfortable rooms and ideally located for public transport, walking and the town centre. -
Tony & Jill are excellent hosts and clearly enjoy what they do. The relatively small nature of their business allows them to be more personal and create a home from home atmosphere. The extra touches were a bonus. Breakfast was plentiful and really set us up for our bay walk to Torquay. We'll be back in the off season for some bracing walks along the prom !

Loved the bathroom and general ambiance of the house, really genuine old enlish country house, very relaxing but not stuffy. Delightful family running it, all without exception very friendly. Delicious breakfast, and exceptionally clean rooms, they were tidied and cleaned up everytime we walked out of the door.

Just everything, I think perhaps they upgraded my single room. The view from the window was just stunning, breakfast was SO good, properly hand made using good ingredients, just such a treat to stay there. Staff were friendly, and helpful, the décor was lovely, ditto the room. I'd stay there again, no question of that, and such a perfect location

The hotel was very comfortable and staff friendly. The general atmospher was upmarket , with both guests and staff very polite. I have mobility problems and when I asked for a room near the lift , my request was instantly granted. I would thoroughly recommend a balcony room and the food was absolutely delicious.

My husband and i came to the Teignmouth area for our honeymoon and return for our 25th wedding anniversary. When we got to our room there was an anniversary card from Nicky and Brian.Nicky had also booked us a table at a local restaurent.Brian was a great chef and breakfast was very good. They were both very helpful and friendly. Our room had agreat view of the sea and we had a lovely weekend at Thornhill. Definitely come again.

We loved the farm and the excellent hosting by Stephanie and Peter. There was plenty of space in a very quiet location. The alpacas were also very entertaining. We hope to have a reason to return to Dartmouth again soon and would have no reservation with booking in at Ashbourne farm again. -
