  Almost everything. The room (Room 2)was spacious with more than ample storage for all our clothes. The view from the room overlooking the sea was absolutely amazing. Our hosts were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The portions and content of the breakfast was all one could ask for. The views spectacular. The facilitites comfortable, well maintained and the decor exquisite. Having the opportunity to choose a breakfast that is freshly cooked was wonderful. An extremely pleasant experience. The location over looking St Michaels mount and the proximity to town and public transport is also a bonus.

  Barbara and Stephen were perfect hosts. Barbara shared her wealth of knowledge about this part of Cornwall. Steve is a professional chef so every meal, breakfast or dinner, was first class and consequently we chose to have most of our meals there. Together they went out of their way to ensure our week long stay was perfect. I am so in love with the breakfast choices. The taste is really good. Location is also great. It's less than 10 minutes walk to bus / train station. - The Artist Residence is a cosy and lovely hotel. Rooms are comfortable, clean, full of details and nice decorated (each room by a different artist). Breakfast is excellent and staff is really helpful and efficient. Its location - in a quiet street - is excellent for those using public transports, as the hotel is close to the railway and bus station. Very good value for money.

  High quality hotel set in its own grounds with excellent facilities and attention to detail, without feeling pretentious. Rooms were large and tastefully furnished/decorated, as was the hotel in general. They were more like suites than standard rooms and were well specified with full facilities. General service was excellent. The bed was very comfortable , the bathroom was large and we would urge everyone to treat themselves and book a stay here.

  The suite is well-appointed with attention to small details. The breakfast is a cold breakfast (warm toast though) which suits us as opposed to the typical full English breakfast. There was lovely freshly stewed fruit to go with the muesli and yogurt. The view is gorgeous and the suite feels very private. I might add that the bed was the best we've slept in thus far on our trip. I was lucky to awaken to two fine mornings, and to watch the play of light in the sky and over water------ for me , unforgettable! The residents' sitting room is so comfortable and relaxing. Excellent breakfast. We stayed 2 nights in this lovely house, wish we'd had longer. A short walk into town on a quiet street. Highly recommended.
