Janet helped our visit enormously with pre-paid, reduced cost tickets to the local attractions of Hardwick and Chatsworth Houses -- a must pair of house visits. The accommodations were excellent and the hosts were very attentive and provided useful local advise on dining and wining.   We stayed at homesford cottage on the 22nd of March and were greeted by Julie who was incredibly welcoming. On that particular weekend there was quite a lot of snow and there were no taxis running on the Friday night so Julie gave us a lift into Cromford to one of the local pubs. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you're planning to visit the idyllic Derbyshire dales. - Beautiful location,room was immaculate & furnishings luxurious. But what made it extra-special was Julie- she was so welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble.Breakfast is cooked to order,just make sure you leave enough room for her home-made cake! Or take it with you! Thanks to Kathryn for her recommendation.Only regret was not being able to stay longer...but hope to stay again soon.Thankyou Julie x

Delicious hearty breakfast. Recommend Cascades. - The Garden suite was well appointed, self contained and had a huge spa bath!. We had use of the extensive gardens, which were beautiful. The B&B was in a very friendly village. The owners were very friendly and could not do enough for us. In the morning we had a hearty full English breakfast that set us up for the day nicely. Fabulous place to stay :)
