Location was great, lots of walks without driving anywhere. Grounds were lovely and you could sit outside and relax. Choice in restraurant was good,as was the food and reasonbly priced too.Beds were comfortable and room was spacious with adequate facilities. Good lounge and bar area which were very clean and relaxing. -

Owner very welcoming and took the trouble to ring a local eatery for us to book a table for our evening meal on arrival. Lovely location and views across valley to hills, we watched a firework display on the other side of the hills from the terrace on our last evening with a glass of wine - very nice! A luxury standard guest house, good breakfast.

No attention to detail had been spared. Lots of thoughtful touches such as bath robes, champagne in ice bucket on arrival, binoculars on windowsill to watch wildlife in garden, extensive range of DVD's. Our welcome was very warm and friendly.

The rooms were warm,clean upon arrival with everything you need for a weekend away.Friendly welcoming bar staff very helpful.Lovely log fire pub with proper pub grub.Breakfast also excellant had a choice of full cooked or whatever u fancied.Came with a group of friends found everything about this country inn excellent would definatley come again a

Spacious room and lots of picknick areas to choose from. Although the restrant was closed we were allowed to order in food and eat this at the picnic areas. Staff very laid back and friendly. Very clean and modern rooms. Very peaceful.
