This was our second stay here. Great staff, nice décor a super location - 30 second walk from the train station and sits right in the thick of the shopping area! The recent addition of a bar area was a welcome treat to replace the tiny honest bar which now meant pre-dinner drinks and night- caps were possible. The bar is beautifully decorated, richly furnished with lovely leather chairs. It is a delightful place to sit, relax and have a drink. I highly recommend a drink here.The beds and beddin.

The hotel itself is very clean and tidy we did think however the carpet and curtains in the room could have done with a clean, over all we had a lovely stay and would stay again. As with a previous review windows and lighting could do with upgrading. We had a lovely stay and would stay again thank you. The hotel is situated just a short distance from the train station. The staff are wonderful in all respects and the service is impeccable. The decor is classic Georgian, with high quality furniture and furnishings. When I checked in, I was informed that I had been upgraded to an executive suite at no extra charge. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. I can't wait for an excuse to return to Leeds :). Fabulous boutique hotel, beautiful luxurious furnishings and fittings.I have stayed at this hotel before but had forgotten just how good it really was. Ideally located just steps away from the train station. Amazing nights sleep in the most comfortable bed, it was like sleeping on a cloud. Cannot wait to return. We have stayed at Quebecs several times, and it never disappoints, the breakfast room is a delight, and since the adding of a bar, it is a welcome distraction before heading out for the evening, the staff are professional and courteous, the hotel is ideally situated for the newly opened Trinity Centre. Perfect location, just by the railway station. Very friendly helpful staff. Excellent facilities in the room, hairdryer, iron, mini bar etc. Beautiful, large grand room, comfortable bed, nice size bathroom with lovely toiletries. Feels luxurious but at a great price, will definitely stay again!. Liked the look of thw hotel as soon as we saw it. lovely old, typical Leeds old building. Location of the hotel was perfect for the nearby bars, restaurants and shopping. We booked an executive room which was spacious and clean . Had everything we needed in the room . We loved the high ceilinged room, the stained glass windows, the little bar when we got in at night, the lovely toiletries, the ease of getting there from the train station, the proximity to a lovely restaurant (Sous le Nez) and general feeling of comfort. Gladstone Suite was amazing, best shower and breakfast delivered to our room was a treat. French Restaurant below the hotel is not to be missed. Honesty Bars was nice too, help yourself and write down what you had !!. The personalised service and knowledge of all the staff; the little luxury extras like free overnight shoe-polishing offer; and the old history of the place, exemplified by stylish period wood-panelling. We have stayed at Quebecs previously a few years ago and the Hotel did not disappoint, the addition of a Bar, was a welcome surprise, and it has still retained its luxury yet cosy feel. Very spacious rooms, well decorated and filly equipped. The hotel itself was lovely and the staff great. Some of the furnishings in the bedroom were slightly dated/worn and late in the evening, there was not enough staff which meant the night porter (who as well as managing the bar and the reception area was also responsible for any room service (delivering it but also making it too) needed 75 minutes to get us a sandwich. Room temperature was too hot and found the air con panel difficult to set, but apart from that minor point there was nothing I didn't like. Curtains didn't shut which let the light in and were a but draughty but in the summer this was ok. There was nothing I didn't like , but I do think our room (304) was looking a little bit tired . The skirting boards and doors could do with a lick of paint , and one of the old windows rattled .In general though, the room was great and for the price , I could not complain. Not being able to get hold of member of staff at night for room service. Carpet was a little grubby, probably overspill of dirty water from adjacent wooden floors. Main road outside our ground floor suite got noisy in the morning. Need arms like popeye to close the curtains, probably 15 foot high and mafe of heavy velour !. No sitting-room in the hotel except in the bar. Think the room service veggie choices could be a little less limited. Room a little noisy from traffic immediately outside at ground level - didn't spoil anything for me but might be a consideration for some. N/A. Very slight traffic issue outside as windows did not block out all the noise. Nothing. Having to go home!. constant noise from adjacent building led to disturbed nights sleep and overall enjoyment of stay. (room 203). loved everything!. If I had to be picky, the TV needs updating and the ironing board was pretty useless but am sure if I asked they could have sorted me out with a full size board big enough. Early morning disturbance when bottles were being thrown into recycling skips. Double glazing may help or reschedule work for later in the day. There is always some noise from the busy street, but with the double glazing, not too bad. Had not realised there was no restaurant - probably my fault. The air-con could have worked more efficiently however this is a minor point. Cost and room size. Usual problem with tv remote which had been de-programmed.The bed was so far from tv it was a bore to have to keep getting out of bed to change channel. This is a basic,not hard for staff to ensure remote is working before room is used. Also I left my electric toothbrush behind. Would have been nice to have got a call enquiring whether it should be sent on. These are the small things which take an establishment from being good to excellent. Traffic noise a little intrusive early in the morning. Cost of breakfast eat out. Parking was sparse we were ok as arrived early. View of concrete wall and buildings opposite. Our room on the ground floor was a bit noisy. There was some noisy plant nearby that cut in and out throughout the night, while the air-conditioning in the room was a bit intrusive as well. Outside - a not-very-inspiring view over the rubbish bins. My son and his girlfriends room on the 5th floor was smaller and not nearly so comfortable (the air conditioning wasn't working on a boiling hot day) yet the rooms were the same price. Nothing. No negatives. Traffic noise. Nothing. No being able to pay cash at the bar after 11pm. The hotel imposed a £50 per-authorization as a deposit and claimed that they will cancelled the pre-authorization and refund back to my debit card when check out. It's almost two weeks since I'm back but Quebce hotel have not credit back the money to my account. Nothing to dislike. Nothing to dislike. Air conditioning was a little noisy. Would be better I there was a restaurant.
