  First impressions count, and they are good. Paul, the landlord, greeted me on arrival. He's friendly and just has that knack of getting people. Our room was quite spacious, for Blackpool B&B, and had everything we needed. Bed was comfy and it was all clean. Paul is always genuinely cheerful and always available. I'm not sure when he sleeps. No need to eat again until dinn - We were travelling with our 2 young boys of 5 and 8 and were very pleased with the family room as it had an adjoining room for the boys so we all had lots of space. We loved the spa bath! Tram stop right outside the hotel made travelling up and down the promenade very easy! Excellent value for money - we enjoyed the breakfast and evening meal - we will come back again if we can find the same deal of £105 per night half-board for a family room.   Fantastic welcome, hotel owners really nice and friendly people. Went out of their way with advice of local parking and restaurants. Hotel rooms immaculate and really good breakfast! Excellent location for Winter Gardens where we were attending a show. - leslie and bob are really friendly, and its realli well situated close to everything!

  From when i entered the hotel i was greeted by the owner,he was very polite and paid attention to me,he checked me in then offered to carry my bag to the room,he also showed me to the room. The room was very clean,it was at the rear of the building. Breakfast was good and plenty. when i had to leave they allowed me to leave my bags there for the d... o que as pessoas dizem » ay as my train was in the evening.I will stay there again in the near future.No complaints at all. - we stayed for one night only to attend a concert at winter gardens the location was fab really close the hotel was really clean and presentable the staff were lovely and offered to do our breakfast one hour early as we all had to get to work the manager said we are very flexible they certainly were ten out of ten and a truly delicous quality english breakfast was served would not hesitate to stay again thank u all at the carlton the lumbs

  The friendliness of all of the staff. How apologetic the staff were regarding the lack of parking spaces (see What didn't you like?) Very easy check in and check out procedure. Check out time was also extended by half hour for us. The bar was good and open late. Breakfast was nice.
