  We were travelling by car,so we wanted to have a hotel with parking and near the city. This was absolutely the right choice! Big rooms,only 8minutes walk to the main center,a very varied breakfast and a lovely helping stuff!   The hotel was cheap and offer good free facilities. The best was a warm sauna after a long car journey with terrible weather. Breakfast was good, in a nice area. - Very friendly and helpful staff, good location in the city centre, free coffee and sauna in the hotel, nice patio to eat outside

  The Hotell Valsaren is a good hotel and certainly a better choice than yet another budget chain hotel. But it's a quirky kind of place. Location is excellent, central in Västerås, yet close to the highway. The hotel is in a converted building in an industrial area. Staff is very friendly and open. Even in evening there is food for free (sandviches, tea, coffee, cookies, fruits). Rooms are rather big and comfortable (and clean).   Freindly staff - The hotel is in a quit residential location with much of the hotel giving space to many offices/different companies. The main reception was large and airy due to the atrium design, and the breakfast buffet catered for all tastes.
