  Rooms were indeed over-furnished. Everything looked so good, so comfy and well-designed. Was so good for our young couple experience. Breakfast was excellent.   Hotel Villa Borgen is in a great location and my room, opening onto a court yard was really nice and very comfortable. The toiletries supplied (shampoo, conditioner and body lotion) were good ones and the bathroom also had a cabinet for storage. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows and cushions.   We had a very comfortable stay here with our 1-year-old son. The family room in the annex was perfect for us -- it's really 2 adjoining rooms, so we could put our son to bed early then sit up with the lights on in the room next door. The town centre is a very easy walk and there's a great kid-friendly park and library just around the - The staff of the hotel is extremely friendly and helpful * The hotel is decorated in a modern way (a lot of white), but it is still very cosy * The room we were in (number 16) was very spacious and even had a little terrace for sitting outside * The breakfast is very healthy (no baked or fried stuff and home-made bread) and delicious * This is an eco-friendly hotel: the staff does not clean the room or change your towels unless you ask for it specifically. I love that!

  This is the 2nd time I have stayed here with family members. The location is excellent if you are arriving by ferry. The breakfast was varied and delicious. We enjoyed our visit and would return on a future trip. - Delicious breakfast, very friendly staff and perfect location
