  Stayed for 1 night on our way back to Stockholm. Kiruna is not much but in winter there's plenty to do. From the outside the hotel looks ols and worn out, but that is almost common above the arctic circle, pretty hard weather conditions. From the inside it was lovely, not common but it felt cozy with all the sami design. Inside it looked as it was... o que as pessoas dizem » freshly painted. Read a book (or so) in their lovely library. Very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. The view on the parking lo - I like the environment. Although i have missed all my breakfast since the SJ train schedule has always been the easliest 6:15am to 6:30am for train to Bjorkliden and Narvik. The staffs are helpeful and i like the living space of the room, it is spacious and it gives comfortableness when staying there. I like to stay there again in future.

  Unlike many visitors who write reviews for the Abisko Mountain Lodge, we visited in mid-summer, not during the winter, when many people go to see the Northern lights. The hosts are wonderfully gracious, and the dinners are artfully presented and truly delicious. We don't hike, but I understand that the trails in the area offer whatever it is that ... o que as pessoas dizem » hikers like. :-) Instead, we drove around the countryside. The scenery--the lake and mountains and pools and streams and waterfalls--is absolutely sp - Direct access to Abisko NP, just go up the path behind the lodge and after 10 minutes you are in the middle of nature. Tip for an easy sight seeing day: take the chairlift up the mountain (2km further) and walk the river canyon afterwards. Excellent restaurant.

Room is decent size, clean, has everything u need, even a hairdryer. wash room is spotless clean and modern. it is very quite yet a great location. And on top of all the stuffs are awesome. Considering and very friendly. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpfull. The icehotel is only 15 km from kiruna and a must see.   The friendly staff member taking car of my registration at the bar made me feel very welcome. There was a fruit bowl in the corridor. There was a refrigerator in the room.
