  I must say that the warm welcome by Mr Eric & his staff made us feel great after a tiring day. The surroundings were fabulous as my family loves and care about the nature, and wild life which TOC is all about. The naturalist Mr de Alwis is surely an asset to the TOC, who took us on bird watching which we enjoyed so much. The chalet was beauti - Had a lovely stay for three nights at the begining of our holiday . Wish we could have stayed longer as it was my favorite place during our stay in Sri Lanka and so chilled out . Eric the Manager made us feel very at home . Enjoyed our nature walk through the jungle with the naturist !

  Superb hospitality, service and comfort. A delightful oasis in an out of the way spot. Lakshman and his lads put together a feast of a dinner and the washing returned beautifully ironed.The welcoming lime juice hit the spot.We were lent the bike to ride the km into town - Habarana - a crossroads centre with shops about 50m each way - nothing more.... o que as pessoas dizem » Sitting on the veranda sipping a Lion Lager makes this a special stop. Estutee. - Jaira was a wonderful host and Le Grand Mealness was a great place to use as a base to explore the cultural triangle. The food was good and the staff were very accommodating, welcoming and helpful (cooking breakfast whatever time we required it). The room was really large, nice and clean and I would recommend Le Grand Meaulnes to anyone.
