There was nothing we didn't love about this hotel. The location is
great, it is quiet, the view is stunning, the food was great. The
interior and decoration is just wonderful and tasteful, the bathrooms
are newly renovated, they have a lovely garden with sections for every
couple so you don't feel like in a croweded place. There are not too

The hotel is very cute, small and cozy, clean and well located!! The bathrooms are big and recently renovated.The staff is well trained, Danath is one of staff who s got a first class style and flair when serving , and a smile that is contagious!!the chef is a gentleman, always suggesting the best meals , taylor made according to preferences and always double checking our satisfaction!! We were there for only 3 days and it was so hard to leave!! Could spend days lying on that hammock outside!!

What a treat! Everything was just fantastic- so relaxing, worth every cent. The staff are so friendly, helpful and treat you like royalty. The food was exceptional. From the check-in at Roman Beach until we left we had the best service
from the staff. We went there for a weekend to celebrate our
anniversary, and were surprised by a complimentary cake and a special
flower arrangement on the bed. The room was also large, clean and very
nice, with a beautiful view of the pool and ocean. We had dinner in the
restaurant one evening, and even though relatively expensive it was very
high quality food and a superb presentation that made it worth the price

Friendly staff who could not do enough for you. The Crab restraunt was
exceptional and the chef fantastic. The food rivaled the best mitchelin
stared restraunts and was exceptional value for money. As a regular
traveller who spends over 90 days each year in hotels this one stands

The owner and staff are very friendly, honest and helpful. The hotel is simple but with a lot of charm and atmosphere right at a beautiful beach not spoiled by tourism yet. I can highly recommend it for people who don't need high standards but prefer a unique and authentic place.

The Oasis Villa is a nice hotel just across the road from the beautiful beach. It's close to communications, and you can catch the bus to villages near by. Location is excellent - 5 minutes walk to the beach, and at the same
time very calm and green. We were happy to stay not right on the beach,
cause noise of ocean surf is good but not when it`s 24 hours per day.

We enjoyed it.
There is a nice place, away from the noisy road of Hikkaduwa. The way to the nearest beach is about 5 minutes (it's a bay). And the way from Big beach (not the bay) is about 15 min by foot.
The hotel is very clean and there is a nice garden near the hotel. Also the room is cleaned every day.
Sampath and his family are the openest and the most hospitable people.
The food in the restaurant is very tasty and nit expensive in relation to other restaurants on the beach.

From the moment we arrived in the quaint town of Hikkaduwa we were met with 5* hospitality! A member of the Villa Tara staff had been waiting for us from the main street all day to guide us up the gorgeous windy village track, across the local railway line, to the most beautiful hidden villa on this little off street path.

The staff was very friendly. The manager was a very nice guy that took time to explain many places to go during my stay in Sri Lanka and gave me the map that he had hanging on the wall in his quarters . The night air was cool and very quiet. You can just barely hear the sea. If you lay at night you will see fruit bats flying above head, and the tranquil sound of nature buzzing.

Beautiful setting, comfy and very clean. Pool just as clean. Lovely, friendly staff especially the manager Chandama who was delightful. Delicious breakfast - wish we'd stayed for dinner. Easy access to Hikkaduwa but much much nicer area. Not luxurious but lovely.
