Nestled at the foot of the Langeberg Mountain Range and surrounded by wineries, The Vineyard Country House features an outdoor pool, a sun terrace and patios overlooking the garden. It offers modern rooms in a country-style setting. Each of the 5-rooms the country house has to offer is individually decorated and equipped with free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen satellite TV, a seating area and private bathroom facilities. Breakfast is served daily using fresh local produce. There is a communal equipped kitchen and a BBQ/Braai area for guests to prepare their own meals. Packed lunches are available upon request. Guests can take a swim in the pool surrounded by vineyards and the tranquil rural surroundings. The country house has a furnished sun terrace overlooking the garden and mountain ranges. Indoors, there is a traditionally decorated lounge area with antique furnishings. The Vineyard Country House offers free bicycle rental for for guests wanting to explore the area. Montagu Eeufees Nature Reserve is 1 km away. Free parking is available.

Warm, welcoming hosts, Lauren and Louise. Freshly baked bread and sometimes a tomato/herb tartlet each morning for breakfast as well as choice of eggs, meats, etc. It was such a delicious way to start the day. Loved the town of Montagu and it is convenient to the Robertson wine region. Nice restaurant choices in the area too. Grounds are nicely maintained and the pool, set in the vineyard, is a delight on some of those hot afternoons. Each cottage has its own patio with comfortable furniture, l.
todos opiniões » The all around atmosphere was relaxing, beautiful, friendly and pleasant. The staff very helpful, friendly and a pleasure to talk to. The rooms were comfortable, clean and relaxing. The vineyard was a delight to behold. Bella (3 month old Pug) was a friendly playful friend. And the food (Thanks Louise) was absolutely wonderful. Peaceful guesthouse set in the vineyards- yet close to everything- we had a wonderful time here- just wish we could have stayed longer- the guesthouse is decorated beautifully and our room ( Number 5) was perfect in every way. Lauren and Louise are non intrusive yet helpful and hospitable. Wonderful, charming place where Lauren and her partner welcomes you in this design and local art decorated guest house. Wonderful breakfast - state of the art prepared and served. highly recommended. Hosts seem to live their dream their and guests feel it. Great place to stay if travelling on route 62! Funny dogs. I like the way that Louise is so "hands on" enthusiastic, and so so positive about everything. Second time we have stayed there and it only gets better! Oh! And breakfast is to die for!!. We were welcomed on a hot afternoon with glasses of their own white wine. The pool was very good and the breakfast was out of this world. The best we had in the Western Cape. This is not a place for dislikes!!!. nothing that we didn't like. Close to road. I didn't mind the two dogs, but there may be people that do. pillows.
