Warm, welcoming hosts, Lauren and Louise. Freshly baked bread and sometimes a tomato/herb tartlet each morning for breakfast as well as choice of eggs, meats, etc. It was such a delicious way to start the day. Loved the town of Montagu and it is convenient to the Robertson wine region. Nice restaurant choices in the area too. all reviews » The all around atmosphere was relaxing, beautiful, friendly and pleasant. The staff very helpful, friendly and a pleasure to talk to. The rooms were comfortable, clean and relaxing. The vineyard was a delight to behold. Bella (3 month old Pug) was a friendly playful friend. And the food (Thanks Louise) was absolutely wonderful. Peaceful guesthouse set in the vineyards- yet close to everything- we had a wonderful time here- just wish we could have stayed longer- the guesthouse is decorated beautifully and our room ( Number 5) was perfect in every way. Lauren and Louise are non intrusive yet helpful and hospitable. Wonderful, charming place where Lauren and her partner welcomes you in this design and local art decorated guest house.
