Apartment hotel room was large and fully equipped for extended stays and had an excellent location close to eateries and clubs and added plus a great view of Table Mountain. - Great Location. Amazing Service. Parking a bit expensive, but you can park outside for cheaper. Even overnight!!

We have never seen a hotel like this, everything was really wonderful. Upon our arrival we were even upgraded (for no additional costs!!) to a Luxury Suite. The willingness of the staff to find solutions to problems. Our reservation had somehow not come through correctly via letsbookhotel.com and they did not have any rooms left. The offered us a room at another hotel, and eventually they arranged that we could stay in the original hotel but in a larger room than booked.

Nice staff, free coffee and tea, nice room, clean and confortable facilities and halls, chairs and books to relax. The fact that the hostel is no smoking is a very good point! A lot of useful information about day trips and tours. -
Great facilities such as kitchen, dining/tv area and roof top bar. Bathrooms were cleaned frequently.

genteel feel. The rooms were nicely sized, comfortable bed and kept
spotless by the staff. The rooms were well soundproofed so you had no

Staff eager to help us as we arrived early were leaving late and had to leave luggage at hotel. We were upgraded to double rooms with views of Table Top. A cheap taxi ride or walk from all the major city sites. Excellent breakfast included. Rooms spacious with all facilities. Compared with our hotel in Rio on the same trip and for the same price Townhouse was streets ahead. Can't wait to go back to Cape Town and when I do there's only one place I'll be staying - The Townhouse.

after mentioning it to Nobu at reception she went out of her way to

This apartment was perfect. Not too big, and not small, the loft above was wonderful and the view from the window was brilliant - both the city as well as table mountain. This apartament is great, well located, even though it is on the town. People who never travelled to south africa, can enjoy this location, cause it is in the comercial center of the city, and easily can enjoy lots of facilities

This hotel lived up to all our expectations and more. We arrived at 10.30am and expected to just leave our luggage, but we were given our room straight away. The staff is extremely knowledgable and friendly, the hotel is almost a B&B but with private facilities, easy to walk to most in town attractions, excellent breakfast very good and convenient before the start to the day, good connection to WIFI. The Hippo is well-designed, clean, and in a great location. The room was super modern and cute! We loved having a nice little kitchenette (complete with a french press coffee maker). The rain shower and heated floors in the bathroom were nice as well.

Rooms were spacious and very clean, with a modern design and finishes. Towels were soft and amenities were lovely. Wifi in the room was much needed. Private verandah was a wonderful feature too. Breakfast was very tasty and a great spread, with many choices.
