The Anchikov has only a few rooms and the staff really treat all of their guests like a kings and queens. The room was nice, much better and bigger than hotel room. Kitchen was a plus and had everything we need to cook a meal. The hotel is close to the metro which is great. Luckily I checked out google maps ahead of time or else I may have had a problem finding the entrance though. The rooms were big and clean and I liked the "Russian" view. Everything was working right and it was perfect, I honestly can't think of something bad to say. The staff were helpful as well.

Great location. Neat rooms, enough space. We were changing the rooms during stay and I cannot say which one of two I liked better. It's nice that you can get in through back yard getting feel of old city. Dostoyevskiy's places are near, if you are in it. -
