I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Although it was only for a night everything about this motel made me want to extend my trip in Taupo for much longer. Upon arriving the receptionist was friendly and welcoming and the facilities were great. For once everything shown on the website was as it was in real life, extremely impressed. Our room was beautifully refurbished, very clean and regularly serviced. The kitchen utensils were of a high standard and our view was BEAUTIFUL. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here thank you very much. The new owners have done a wonderful job and we will be back next time we are in taupo!.
todos opiniões » Taupo is a popular tourist resort town, located on the banks of Lake Taupo, and the largest freshwater lake in NZ a. Taupo activities include world class fishing, boating, rafting and jet boating. plenty of walks, biking tracks, golf, geothermal attractions and hot pools. We had a unit on the top floor with unobstructed view of lake Taupo, Mt Ruapehu with its snow cap, of folk swimming ,trout fishermen in boats. So relaxing, spa in the room was excellent to unwind in , breakfast was great , value for money. Will be back again to unwind. After a long holiday with lots of travelling it was a lovely place to finish our holiday. Great location, lovely staff, friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts available were very reasonably priced and Yum! Loved the spa bath in the room. Excellent personalised service. Clean and modern facilities. Carpark on site. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Convenient location to restaurants, shops and good view of Lake Taupo and beyond from the balcony. Thank you!. Great views of the lake, quiet, close to town, refurbished room was lovely,very clean, staff excellent and willing to go the extra mile - helped get a toy stuck high in a tree down, very friendly. the bedrooms were clean, toilet and shower was clean and tidy. the linen and towels had fresh smell. our towels were changed daily and our room was cleaned and tidied up nicely when we were out. Lay out of the rooms. Good linen and the bathroom was excellent with good toiletries and towels. First impression was very attractive. The view was amazing, great being so close to the lake. Great clean room as staff were very friendly. Would definitely go back again. All of it, very comfortable, clean and spacious, we had a top floor apartment at the front so the view was wonderful. The management were very friendly and helpful.Rooms had recently been renovated and were great value for money. Fantastic view of Lake Taupo and could sit outside on the balcony to enjoy it. Windows have double glazing , but as we live in a very quiet area we did notice traffic noise but was acceptable, it is a main street is. bathroom outdated - but didn't really use and used the spa bath in the main room which was lovely. Access up stairs with bags but realise this is difficult to overcome, and worth the climb for the view. Nothing. Bathroom & toilet could be a little more updated but it was adequate for what we needed. Nothing. Water tasted like chemicals . Might need filtration on this motel. A bit run down inside, jacuzzi in the bedroom a bit wierd, I'd have preferred a bigger bathroom or a bigger bedroom instead. the rain. Needs updating. Fan rattled in the wind at night. Neighbour decided to use spabath at midnight. Not that sound proof. We had room number 4, the bed is too soft and bouncy which does not give for a good nights sleep. Noise from other rooms, especially plumbing (showers and running baths) and even someone blowing their nose at 3am in the morning. Nothing. No information booklet. Photos on the website not a true indication of the room we were in. Needed some work done to it to meet the website photos. banging pipes. Being asked to pay up front because "people ran off without paying" The décor was dated and shabby and the unit was obviously undergoing renovation. Just a bit dated needs a minor makeover. Air con did not work disconnected shabby electrical work looks like the units have bean built by a handy man. parking.
