  I have rated Amity Lodge Motel highly because it offers excellent value for the general traveller, whether on business or for pleasure, alone or in the company of others, including children. The mana - My husband and I stayed at Amity Lodge for 5 nights and it was one of the best accommodations during our New Zealand trip (south island road trip). Jo & Doug were wonderful people; very warm, friendly and extremely helpful. The location was excellent, it was on a quiet street but about 10 mins walk to the main city centre. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed, including the guest laundry room downstairs which was so handy as we did lots of skiing. I es

  The owners Sue and Alan were always happy to answer our questions and provide us with ideas on where to go and what to see. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Amber Lodge is an easy walk to the shops and wharf. We had lovely views from our upper storey apartment also. Our adult children could walk to ski bus departure locations easily. The apartment was very spacious.

  We dealt with a few different counter staff and all were fantastically helpful. They were happy to move our bags around from room to room and look after them whilst we were off hiking from hut to hut. The rooms were very pleasant, the timber warm and welcoming and we found the room very spacious compared to the average hotel room. This was our second stay at Coronation Lodge and we just love it. It is close to the centre of town but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. We stayed in a self-contained apartment that is great if you are staying for a bit longer. You get 100mb free wifi a day and they have lots of Sky channels!

  Great motel, very clean and tidy with helpful staff on hand. A few minutes walk to the town centre, but far enough away to enjoy a peaceful night. The rooms were spacious and modern with lovely facilities. My room was ground floor with no balcony, however had a lovely area out the back which was private and sunny. Perfect place to stay in Queenstown and I would not hesitate to go back there.
