  Up on a small hill, you have a beautiful view over the lake, and you are a bit outside but still close enough to the busy town centre. The room setup is a little old-fashioned in a positive sense (hooks on the door, coat hangers etc).   This BB is a wonderful place to stay if you are looking for a home away from home. The owners of the BB were very helpful and knowledgeable about all activities nearby. Although this is located about a 5min drive from downtown Queenstwon the view that you get of the lake from our personal patio was amazing. Monika - The staff/owners were very friendly and helpful, but not in an overbearing way. The rooms were very clean and the owner cooked us a delicious breakfast every morning. He also had numerous maps and brochures of the Queenstown area and attractions. Make sure to get the room with its own private hot tub and fireplace, with a view of Lake Wakatipu... definitely worth it!
