Our room was at the Biasin side, first floor with great views on the bridge and canal. Newly renovated bathroom, spacious 3 pers. room. Wifi worked in the room too (above the lobby). Very comfortable beds with lights that don't disturb others. Quite cheap, good breakfast for additional price.
It was a half-populated 16 person dorm, but it was comfortable to stay there.
It is on a separate island from the city center, but public transport is working all the night so it's not a problem.

Location was excellent . Our room had a canal view which was unique. Noisy if windows open but new windows shut out the noise. Very clean and looked like the picture. As soon as you step inside you feel the friendliness and warmth of a family-based business. We had a room with a canal view, the beds were cozy and the shower great - all of this more than made up for the humble furnishings. Just 5 minutes from the station, and the restaurant next door is good. We won't bother looking anywhere else for our stays in Venice.

Nice location, just besides the water bus stop.The streets in Venice are so complicated that makes you easy to get lost, but the Pensione Guerrato is very easy to find. The staff were very attentive and kind and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The baby bed was perfect and the room itself was comfortable and very clean. The pensione is great value for money and ideally situated near the Rialto bridge.

Casa Petrarca was a wonderful place to stay in beautiful Venezia! The location is hard to beat in my opinion, less that 5 minutes to Piazza San Marco, 10 minutes to the Rialto bridge. The room was small but very comfortable and clean, though next time we would probably opt for a room with a ensuite bathroom. It's nice that it is close to st mark's square. Breakfast was good. Josie in the breakfast room was very nice and attentive to our needs. The front desk clerks were very helpful. Rooms were clean. I will stay here again.

I like the location - it's less than 10 mins walk from the train station. It's also surrounded by good restaurants (incidentally, a very good one just next to the hotel).
