The staff were excellent, very friendly. They were happy to call up a restaurant for me and book a table. I also heard them calling an airline office for another guest to change their flights. The hotel itself is basic but very clean and within a short walk to both the city centre, the sea front & the train / bus station. -

We liked everything about this hotel! What can we say? Very well situated, clean, cosy, friendly and helpful personnel.. You get a special price for the parking which is situated close to the hotel. We will definitely come back! -

Everything. Trieste is a beautiful town and this is a beautiful place. The room I had was large, thoughtfully decorated and extremely comfortable. The location was brilliant, the staff were lovely, breakfast was beautiful and featured local produce, there's a crazy lovely naughty puppy dog who was great, it's across the road from a lovely osteria called Marise (go!)... I would love to stay in this place forever. I wish all hotels were like this.

The hosts were wonderful--very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Building and facilities were beautiful and charming. Room was basic but extremely clean and tastefully decorated. To say that the owners/operators of this hotel were kind, helpful, knowledgeable, respectful, considerate, and a joy to be around would be an understatement. They were absolutely wonderful and went well out of their way to assure our time there surpassed all our expectations. I am in love with the Banne area, and the warm feelings come mostly from staying at this B&B.

our first night we were late in arriving and needed to get to the yacht

It's a very pleasant hotel, with great apartments on the other side of the street with some shops, spotless clean,very quite, specious, equipped and stylish.The location is a bit away from the city center but in a 10 min walk you are their. Great breakfast too.

The couple that ran the place were really lovely and hospitable. The location is brilliant - very near centre (5-10 min walk) and right opposite a nice cafe / bakery serving bread, pastries and coffee, that is open 24 hours! Also it's really cheap to stay here. -
