Excellent modern hotel near to the center of Udine. Quiet location. Rooms with individually adjustable air condition. Large windows. Big beds with very good mattresses. Nice outdoor terrace to take a drink in the evening. Comfortable parking in garage of hotel. Breakfast very good. Absolutely recommendable.

Great hotel. The breakfasts were fantastic with wide variety of food, staff behind the desk friendly and helpful, cleaning staff friendly, rooms spotlessly cleaned and made everyday, close to train. Trieste is quite small so nothing really too far. I paid the same per night in Rome, Hotel Altavilla, and comparing Hotel Milano to there is like a 5

Surprisingly very Comfortable rooms, although lobby and buulding itself seemed to be rather old and little untidy. Not luxury but very good hotel with helpful staff.

Hotel is quite good equipped (air conditioning, safe deposit, pool, parking space, cleaning service every day, bike service, free wifi [just in hall], beach umbrella, chair & sunbed) not that far from the beach and they allowed access to the pool in night hours as well, which was great during hot nights. They helped with telephone numbers, train travel information, helped with internet connections and cancellations of flights and accomm in Rome due to change of itinerary. Apartment located close to train station, easy to walk and also close to the centre by foot.
The apartment was huge and very clean. Reception staff were friendly and polite and should you wish to leave luggage of your check out day that's no problem. Would stay here again if we were in Trieste. There is a bar/cafe just next door but we didn't use it so cannot comment.
There is also a supermaket very close by on the next block.

The location of the hotel on the waterfront and in the center of historical amenities are two reasons to stay here. The city bus services are conveniently located just outside the hotel's doors. The hotel is located in an historical building (we had a balcony facing the water) with rooms that were immaculate and whose staff were very helpful. An added bonus was that our car rental office was only a few minutes' walk from the hotel.
