  The hotel was lovely. the rooms were quite small but perfectly adequate. we had a room overlooking the lake with a balcony which was lovely and it had air conditioning. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The location was excellent overlooking the lake but just a short walk into the Centre of Como which was a stunning city. Our room was basic but very clean & comfortable with a lake view. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The on-site restaurant was fantastic! The food was delicious and Giorgio & the other waiters were great, the complimentary limoncello finished the night off perfectly! Prices were very reasonable too. The staff were absolutely delightful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Maybe not that good value for money compared to other cities, but generally the cities around lago como are expensive, so in that respect the price is okay.   Very helpful staff with generally good English skills (we spoke next to no Italian!). Well appointed with 24 hour security and a short walk to town. Close-ish to the train station - less than 10 minutes walk wheeling baggage. Our room was at the rear so nice and quiet with a pleasant outlook.
