  We were staying in Milan and decided last minute to visit Como so booked this place the night before driving out. We arrived too early to check in but the lady on reception was very pleasant and gave us some suggestions of what to do in the meantime. Later the gentleman on reception was just as helpful and kind with his superb restaurant recommend... o que as pessoas dizem » ation for dinner. The location and room were great for what we wanted - central, easy and comfortable. We wish we could have stayed longer! Highly rec - Excellent location, in the center of the old town. The hotel is new, nice, clean and very comfortable. the staff at the reception very helpful and nice, especially Elisabeth who knew that it was my birthday during my stay so she managed to surprise me by putting a beautiful gift on my bed. i simply loved the hotel.

The staff were courteous and helpful, even to the point of retrieving a lost cardigan from the Villa Carlotta and posting it on.   The hotel had large rooms, was very clean, and had good WiFi internet availability for free (I've come to realize this is not all that common in Italian hotels). There is also a very nice restaurant in the same building, with a nice garden view, good food, and wonderful service. The owner was wonderful.
