when Glenda collected us (husband, wife and 7 year old daughter) to the

We travelled as a group of four adults with one baby. The apartments at Porta Nuova were brilliant! The apartment was spotless and beautifully decorated, with every attention to detail being made. We stayed in 2 bedroom apartment that very large with gorgeous views from all the bedrooms. The host Glenda was especially helpful and went to a lot of trouble to accommodate our baby. That was a trip for 4 days and 4 different locations and as a result- for sure Liberty B&B was the best. The room and bathroom were spacious, pretty and had all that we needed. In a very convenient and relatively quiet location, everything is 5 minutes walk away. The owner was amazing: thoughtful, informative and very helpful. In fact, he went out of his way to save us from a crisis regarding our flight home by communicating to relevant people for us, helping us with luggage (two bikes) and also met us at the bus station to make sure it had all worked out well.

Everything about the hotel was so new and fresh we thought it had just opened when we stayed in Oct 08. We were told it was 4 years old. Super room, wonderful bathroom and great breakfast. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and the bathroom was good...the shower and all the facilities worked well. The hotel was in a very good location for the lower city and I liked that we were in that area buut near enough to walk to the citti alta. We would come back to Hotel Arli again. (even better). Laura is the best host I ever meet. The location is
perfect, not far from the Citta Alta(25-30 min walking), quiet, close to

charm, ease of stay, beauty and so close to lovely Bergamo. If you are
tired of millions of tourists I reccomend that you come to Laura's
and enjoy the hospitality, beautiful wooded countryside the Old and New
town of Bergamo. The interior of the Bergamo churches exceed Venice. You
will enjoy exploring both new and Alta Citi and the Italian Lakes to the
east of Bergamo along with the vineyards which look and feel like
Chianti.
