For any questions we had about the area, they knew or found the answers. We were treated very specially, but were given our space in the guest house.   We were greeted by the owners father on arrival, who filled us in on all the necessary information of the local village Hillsborough and how to get to Belfast. We then met David the owner, very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are beautifully furnished and there is a real home atmosphere, like your one of the family.   The hotel is an old coaching inn with a lot of character. We were made to feel very welcome. The room that we had was very large and comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent.We can recommend the fruit pancakes.The hotel is a 30 minute drive from Belfast and there is easy access to the surrounding countryside.
