For any questions we had about the area, they knew or found the answers. We were treated very specially, but were given our space in the guest house. We found it to be comfortable and well-appointed, with a delicious breakfast menu. The owners, Mary and Phillip, couldn't have been more accommodating ... they even drove us to the train station when we left. The location is excellent, and we enjoyed the walk along the seaside promenade to restaurants for dinner so lovely ... a highlight of our stay in Ireland.

  My stay at the Slieve Donard Hotel was in all a pleasure. The food was fantastic as was the service. The way the swimming pool has been set up couldnt be better with the view over looking the ocean.   The hotel is an old coaching inn with a lot of character. We were made to feel very welcome. The room that we had was very large and comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent.We can recommend the fruit pancakes.The hotel is a 30 minute drive from Belfast and there is easy access to the surrounding countryside.
