  Excellent location, excellent staff. The room was dated by American standards, but with a nice modern-looking bathroom lacking only an electrical outlet. Breakfast very good, served in the downstairs restaurant. After our first night at the hotel, a serious plumbing problem that apparently had been developing over many years, came to light. All in all, a p - Excellent location. A few minutes walk to Grafton Street. Only about 10-15 min walk to Temple Bar -area or The River Liffey. Very friendly staff. Quite many steps to our room and no lift. Large nice room overlooking the Stephens Green -park. Perhaps a bit pricy but all in all a great place to stay.

  Our room was very clean and comfortable. It was a short walk into the city to visit the sites, shopping and dining. Maurice was also very helpful by zllowing us access to our rolm a little earlier due to our arrival time in Dublin. The room was great, the toilet and the shower were very modern and clean. The biggest benefit is that there is a bar downstairs which is very useful for a tired traveller :).

  This hotel was incredible. I stayed in the Oscar Wilde suite. The attention to detail was beyond compare. This establishment thought of everything, right down to the chocolates. Very small,boutique hotel with only 4 rooms. It was quiet, even though it was in the heart of the Temple Bar area. Could not ask for a better location. I do have one request please, a bat - personnalized service - convenience of location . large room . I was greeted personally they called me on my way from the airport. I was dreading the noise as it is in very busy /noisy Temple Bar but my suite ( Bram Stoker) was not on street ... so it was quiet .. and they provide ear plugs . ITs a vry urban environment so if you re looking for views or sense of space its not a place for you. The room are large however and otherwise perfect . Will use it again .

  The Adelphi is centrally located and provided an excellent base for our regrettably brief stay of two nights in Dublin. The staff were accommodating, always pleasant and keen to provide whatever service or information we required. The room was comfortable and breakfast good, whether cooked or continental. We used an offer from letsbookhotel.com - it included breakfast and it was very cheap. Quality was acceptable - so value for money was the best from all other options.

  The reception staff were invariably helpful and polite which in branded hotels may not always be the case, and had good tips on places to visit and directions, the room was very clean, the door held open on arrival with a wedge was a very thoughtful touch, as was leaving the window open so the room was airy on arrival rather than stuffy. Great - Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, bathroom was spacious, and the water pressure in the shower was great. The staff was perhaps the best part of the whole experience. We were able to lock our bags up before checking in so we didn't have to drag them around the city. Also, the staff helped us with directions, provided free maps, and recommended places to eat. We felt very welcome! Highly recommended! My favorite part of our stay was our 5 euro bagged lunch, which was a great deal and

  I stayed on the barge with my two children aged 8 and 12. We used to live in Dublin so wanted something "different" to make it more interesting and the barge was certainly that! Trish and her husband (the owners) had thought of lots of "extras" to make us comfortable and to make life easier for us. Whilst we didn't use th - Location was great. Hosts were better than great, such fun to stay on this barge and really comfortable. The canal option was so good and our friends young kid loved watching it all unfold....so did the adults. You want for little staying with Dublin Barge Hire and its right downtown walking distance to Trinity College, all the museums, and the new Rugby/ Soccer stadium. Not to mention just a block from the train station to go out to Howth! Cannot recommend enough, wonderful and fun for both of
