Buswells Hotel is very well located for sightseeing and shopping in Dublin. At the same time the hotel is situated in a very quiet spot in the heart of the city, and you can sleep your night in peace. Lovely old-fashioned atmosphere, friendly staff and very confortable rooms. Bar and lobby are welcoming. Ask for a room with a wifi. Absolutely loved this hotel! Was weighing up whether to stay at the Westbury or her and we were so glad we picked the Shelbourne! It is just in a class of its own and seems to have more on at night too. You could just sit in the elegant foyer and people-watch all day! Excellent location. A few minutes walk to Grafton Street. Only about 10-15 min walk to Temple Bar -area or The River Liffey. Very friendly staff. Quite many steps to our room and no lift. Large nice room overlooking the Stephens Green -park. Perhaps a bit pricy but all in all a great place to stay.

as i was doing the marathon, i asked if i could check out a little later, as i needed a shower afterwards. they kept it on for me, were very nice and didnt charge me any extra - supherb service! - Very central. We were staying for the marathon weekend and it's perfectly placed close to the start and finish! Nice rooms, friendly staff.

The bed has to have been one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in! It really was great. Staff were very pleasant. Location was also brilliant. Most of all, though, I got a last-minute deal which was really good value. Oh yes, one other thing - there was a lovely little ceramic teapot in the room, a lovely change from having a tea-bag in a cup and I appreciated this very much!

Our room was very clean and comfortable. It was a short walk into the city to visit the sites, shopping and dining. Maurice was also very helpful by zllowing us access to our rolm a little earlier due to our arrival time in Dublin. We've booked another night there when we return from our travels around Ireland. -
