Location was great. Hosts were better than great, such fun to stay on
this barge and really comfortable. The canal option was so good and our
friends young kid loved watching it all unfold....so did the adults. You
want for little staying with Dublin Barge Hire and its right downtown
walking distance to Trinity College, all the museums, and the new
Rugby/ Soccer stadium. Not to mention just a block from the train
station to go out to Howth! Cannot recommend enough, wonderful and fun
for both of

I liked the hotel decor. Though my room was small like most europeanhotel rooms the room was charming. The breakfast was very good and Iappreciated getting to order a hot breakfast off of the menu. Make reserva - I loved the fact that we were outside the hustle and bustle of the city, but still close enough only 10 mins on the Dart which there were very frequent. The atmosphere of the area and the townhouse itself helped us to completely relax.

The Waterloo Lodge was ideal for my stay as it was 10 minutes walk to
rds and to Marion Square (start location of the Dublin city Marathon). I
traveled with my wife and our two kids (3 & 5 years old) and the
family room we had was ideal, plenty of space. Staff were very
accommodating and breakfast was excellent. All in all, we had a pleasant
3 nights stay in the Waterloo lodge.

as i was doing the marathon, i asked if i could check out a little later, as i needed a shower afterwards. they kept it on for me, were very nice and didnt charge me any extra - supherb service! - Very central. We were staying for the marathon weekend and it's perfectly placed close to the start and finish! Nice rooms, friendly staff.
