We had a very clean, comfortable room overlooking the street on the first floor. The custom built furnishings were very nice, as was the walk in shower. Very comfortable bed. Liz from KL summed it up well. We had the top floor room which is split over two levels, and fro the top level we could see the Dom. Very convenient location, close to railway station and there is a suburban line almost right underneath the hotel now, so convenient to arrive into the city by train. Breakfast was outstanding, with local gourmet ingredients. Great staff. Quiet location too, set on a quiet back street just outside the central part of town. Highly recommend this place.

Beautifully set on the water's edge and lovely room. Very new hotel so everything is in excellent condition, yet the rustic quality of the log finish makes it feel homely rather than sterile. Nice deck overlooking the canals and waterways. Very quiet. -

By far the best accomodation we have had on our trip. Very new clean stylish rooms. Excellent helpful staff. Easy to find location in the heart of cologne. It was a modern room with fresh new facilities. Very nice bed and bathroom. we had safe and cheap parking and it was literally in the door step on endless streets of cafe's, bars and shops. in such a beautiful area. we stayed there to attend the tennis in Halle and this was only a 30min drive away. The train station is very close too.

very pleasant staff - friendly helpful and efficient. free wifi, nice, clean, tastefully decorated room, everything works properly - even lighting, i don't take this for granted as quite often you come across hotel rooms which are overly romantic and where you can't get a proper reading light or main lighting. great value for such a central location: 1 minute walk to Konigsallee.

This is a dream hotel for weekend with friends - great facilities, wonderful restaurants and bars, superb rooms and service. A perfect combination of old-fashioned style and modern comfort. Fab! - Excellent service of the personel at the hotel. Verry helpfull and friendly. Breakfast was perfect at all. The palace looks like a fairy tail.
