This guesthouse is excellent. Whatever it lacks is made up by the friendly and very hospitable Birgit Nagel who operates the guesthouse. We loved the atmosphere here. The breakfast room was cozy and Birgit mingled with all the guests to make sure everything was alright. The room was fine with huge windows. Also our free bus ticket was wonderful.

Haus Schwalbennest feels more like an BnB than a hotel. The family that owns the hotel are wonderful people. Couple the amazing traditional German style hotel experience with incredible views of the surrounding area like Lake Konigsee and you have a phenomenal opportunity to experience Germany at it's best. The accommodation was very nice and comfortable. Much more than we expected. Everything was there to make you comfortable. Very nicely decorated and quality of items were very high. Owner was very friendly. Lovely setting in a housing estate. We found it a little hard to find where to park, but all was well in the end. -
