  At first, I had booked a 16-day stay at the standard rate, which did not include a desk and a chair. I immediately upgraded and had a very enjoyable stay. I also realized I was minutes - As noted, the rooms are small; however, they are well designed in that there are nooks and crannies as well as hooks that help keep everything organized and handy. The location is excellent, around the corner from the Spittelmarkt U-bahn station. There are eateries near the station--a bakery, konditorei and bierstube restaurant.   Stayed in Berlin for Depeche Mode at O2 World, so location was excellent, about 10 mins walk away. Also close-by are very good transport links. Was very pleasantly surprised how quiet and peaceful it was, when in our room. Another bonus was free Wi-Fi and also free to use terminals in lobby area with facilities for print outs.
