A family run guest house. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. They provided breakfast every morning. Our room faced the two castles. Definently within walking distance of Horn, Schwangau, and Hohenschwangau if you don't mind going for a 20 min walk. It is immaculately clean and well maintained. Owner is very accommodating. He made the best hot chocolate ever for us one evening, drove us to the train station (within walking distance but we had to meet up with an early morning tour group)His wife serves an excellent breakfast. Room is spacious and very clean bathroom. -

Very nice breakfast and staff - they were very accomodating when our party ran into car trouble and got in very late to our hotel - beds were turned down and ready to be slept in! Location is good - very easy access to nice hiking and biking trails and the King's Castles - and we had a beautiful view of the lake from our balcony window.
