Great location, very conveniently situated next to a train station and a 15 minute, easy walk into town. Friendly staff, fabulous room with everything you could possibly need provided. Lovely comfortable bed. The bathroom was fantastic with a choice of two types of shower. Excellent breakfast - one of the best we have had - the choice was brilliant.

Loved everything about the hotel.

The elevators were noisy and my room was close to the elevators/lift. The noise was disturbing. I hope they fix the lift soon. It is really sad to have this issue in such a great Hotel.

Very helpful professional and customer orientated staff, (dining staff, reception and room staff) Good location both for town centre and access to S and U Bahn Good views and nice rooms also. Quality food in the restaurant (evening meal) and great breakfasts also.

A good hotel with easy access to the S Bahn and only a 15 minute walk to the centre of Hamburg. We had a business class room on the 16th floor overlooking the city. It wasn't overly big, but it was comfortable enough. The bed was particularly comfortable. We only ate breakfast in the hotel and although expensive, the choice was extensive and the quality excellent.

The room we were assigned lacked practical storage space. There was one poorly lit shelf in the wardrobe and that was it. Okay maybe if you are only staying one night, but for longer stays leaving your clothing in your suitcase is the only other option. The hotel is huge with over 500 rooms and for that reason somewhat soulless. The lobby area is particularly uninspiring.

Arrived early, but room was ready. Offered top floor room, which had a fabulous view. Staff friendly and helpful, thought the bar area was particularly comfortable and unusually good selection of draught beers for a hotel. FREE wi-fi (posh hotels, please take note)!

Excellent room, helpful staff and the room was particularly well cleaned etc each day.

Very poor for in room drawers for clothes in fact basically none. We stayed for a week and would have preferred more choice of restuarants. I have travelled all over the world and have never seen less drawer space for clothes. Fine for business one or two days stay but not for a wee. Having said that everthing else was very good

Easy to find, great location, huge, comfortable bed, great view, beautiful reception and room, loved information on tv as opposed to printed, great shower

No drawers for quick unpacking, could hear the trains (we were on the 15th floor with closed windows) - not enough to disturb sleep though. And no fault of the hotel, I'm sure, but sounded like someone was moving furniture above us until around 11pm.

i liked the free internet and the breakfast. the hotel location is very good 5 minutes walking from the main shopping area and there is a nice park beside the hotel. also there is a train station with a lot of restaurants beside the hotel.

the bathroom amenities were very poor. the room was small. i did not like their tv channels ( mostly in German).

We were upgraded to a business-class room free of charge.

The business class room was not free of smoke smell.

Clean and renovated room. Good and clean linen.

On check out we were charged with 60 euro more than the cost agreed in our reservation by letsbookhotel.com. We have pointed that to the receptionist and then she returned us the extra charged money.

Overall very nice hotel

The hotel charged extra 47€ from my credit Card without informing me, upon departure this amount was refunded in cash. Aparently some assurance in case of use of the mini bar or the like. I dont like my credit Card charged without permission and refunding in cash is big anoyment, especially if this had been a bussines travel

- Friendly staff - Comfortable room - Great view from the rooms in the upper floors - Next to Dammtor and Hauptbahnhof stations: very easily accessible from Airport (45 min. 'door to door') - Location perfect, close to central locations - Right at the border of the 'Planten un Blomen' city park - Fantasic for early morning jogging in the park

- A little too crowded at the reception desks during day time. OK for check-in and check-outs, but a real nuisance for small questions or orders ...

Large hotel where you can easily "blend into the crowd". Rooms and beds are very comfortable. Location is good, between city center and St. Pauli and close to park and metro station.

Everything was good! The room was of decent size and very clean. Service is excellent. The staff even congratulated me when they found out it was my birthday on the day of our arrival. The view of the city from the window is beautiful, so ask a floor above 10. And it's close to the city center (10 min walk) and to the airport (20-25 min taxi ride).

We were pleasantly surprised by the decor and design of the hotel considering the relatively cheap price. The staff, particularly those on reception and in the hotel bar, were very friendly and welcoming.

Only slight grip was check-out, where we had to queue with many others, some who were checking in. A "quick checkout" facility or kiosk might be better. It was a Sunday and was at 12 noon so no doubt one of their busiest times.

you were skimpy with the little things like coffee, tea milk in the room. We asked for extra milk, and got very little, in the end we bought a carton of milk and brought it into the hotel likewise tea bags. For the money we paid I didn't think that good. Also 14 euros for a continental breakfast is I think too much.

My towel was changed, even though I didn't leave it at the floor. My shower gel was renewed even though the old one was perfectly sufficient. Friendly, but not very enviroment-friendly.
