The trip was a last minute plan to attend the cologne carnival..so we chose the place as it was a good price for something last minute and thought it is located a little on the outskirts...but is still not that far from the city center..there is a S bahn stop about 300m-400m from the hotel ..with about a 10 minute ride to the hauptbahnhof or main

The hotel was outside of the city, but was a short walking distance to the train stop that would take you right to the center by the cathedral... about 15 minutes all together. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The room had AC!

This is a dream hotel for weekend with friends - great facilities, wonderful restaurants and bars, superb rooms and service. A perfect combination of old-fashioned style and modern comfort. Fab! - Excellent service of the personel at the hotel. Verry helpfull and friendly. Breakfast was perfect at all. The palace looks like a fairy tail.

Very nice hotel, recently renovated. We had a big room and enjoyed a lot our staying. The hotel has its own parking facilities (there is also plenty of public parking in the surrounding) and a tram station nearby: perfect combination! The breakfast was very nice. The room was superb, very spacious& the decor was very funky&modern, bed was lovely&comfortable.the location is great only a 5 min walk to the old town along the river with some great places to eat&enjoy a few drinks.
