  It is the first time I have stayed at a hotel anywhere in the world and the description of the hotel and facilities have been accurate. A very enjoyable stay and the food was excellent. - We only stayed one night however the hotel building, an old abbey isamazing and rooms and staff to a very high standard. Great Deal thanks!

  L'Oustal is a great place to stay and within a short walk to Bourges centre. We arrived on a very wet evening and was warmly greeted by Sophie, who gave us great information on Bourges and a map, which was great as we were only there for one night. We stayed in the Coco Chanel room which was beautiful,very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfa... o que as pessoas dizem » st was good and plentiful and we hope to return to spend a few days so we can see Bourges hopefully without the rain. - Owner Sophie was a charming hostess who made us feel instantly at home. The whole house is beautifully decorated yet comfortable. Breakfast with all the guests around the same table also added to the relaxed, friendly feeling of staying in a French country home. We were offered the use of a couple of bicycles too which enabled us to enjoy the city and surrounds even more. A wonderful stay.

  This was a luxurious one night stay for us. The owners are lovely and are suceeding in their endeavours to stay ahead of the competition. The location is excellent, easy walking distance to the centre where restuarants abound . Otherwise excellent allround!! - This is a gem of a small boutique hotel. The owners are a charming couple who made our stay particularly enjoyable. The attention to detail is outstanding. The rooms and the public areas are beautiful and breakfast was a delight.

  I traveled through the town of Bourges last year abnd was so facinated by the old city that I wanted to return. I saw the hotel online and it sounded interesting. I reeived an email from the owners questioning if I realy wantted an appartment as that is what i had booked. They have both appartments for longer staying guests, and standard rooms ... o que as pessoas dizem » for those staying one or two nights. I was moved into the hotel whih was appointed quite well with period furnishings and a very comfortable bed. I - Receptionist and owner were both extremely helpful in suggesting things to see. The location is wonderful and parking is really secure. You must book to guarantee one of the limited spaces but there is plenty of free parking nearby. we stayed inLles Tours which is up a flight and a half of stairs not a problem for 63 year olds but bear in mind. Good breakfast delivered to room which made a nice change. The renovation has been done very well, and its a real treasure store but still good value an

In the old center of town, just two blocks from the cathedral. The 17th century building has lots of character and been restored by a charming family who are also the hosts. Our two rooms were gorgeous and spacious with extremely high ceilings, original wood floors, tall shuttered windows, chandeliers and antiques. It felt like we were staying in an old palace.The breakfast was spectacular. We felt completely pampered.

  We travelled in France for two weeks, this was the most memorable and special place to stay!! Maison du Théâtre Saint Bonnet is a charming family house with a lot of character. It is perfectly positioned a 5 minute walk from the cathedral. The Bourges Marais, the famous marshlands park is also just a couple of streets away. Our room and bathroom was very large and comfortable. We were given a private piano recital in the beautiful theatre. The pool and breakfast were superb. We were escorted to a fantastic restaurant by the owner and introduced, where we had a the best meal of our two week holiday at a very reasonable cost. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners at the hotel and we loved the opulent décor and designer clutter! Bourges old city
