Localização - Everything, it's wonderful, the sea view, the big rooms, the best hotel in town, not by location but by everything else. THE place to stay if you've got a car in dubrovnik. (If you dont it's not so far though) - Stayed at the Uvala, not the Splendid: the room was large and very nice. We also used the indoor swimming pool.

The owners of the apartment were incredibly friendly and greeted us with a drink and information on Dubrovnik. The apartment was incredibly clean and smelt wonderful. The interior was lovely, bed was comfy and everything worked. The location couldn't have been better- close to the city walls but far enough and off the road so there was little noise. Everything was perfect!!! The room was very nice and clean with sea view. The staff friendly and good people. There is also and mini supermarket under the apartments.
The location is 250 m to the copacabana beach, 2 min walk away from bus stop to the old town, and 5 min. walk from the street with a lot of bars and restaurants.

Big modern rooms, spacious bathroom. Everything is very clean. Very nice view over the port of Gruz. Our room had a big terrace and from what I could see most of the rooms have them. Free parking (in abundance), very easy to find, situated on the main road so if you are with a car very practical for trips to other towns along the coast (no need to enter the city). All in all, to me it seems like very good value for money. In most countries that I have been to you could find rooms like this only

Friendly and helpful staff. As it os said, it os about 1 km away from the City walls but it is a nice walk. Moreover, it is located near one of the only places where you can park your car for free. It has a wonderful view in the terrace and you really feel like you are at home. It has some beaches nearby with a classy restaurant.

The hotel is located in an old house outside but very near the Pile gate (one of two to the Old City). Very convenient! The room is surprisingly large and tidy and has what you expect (including a hair dryer!). There is a nice garden restaurant where you can sip wine and eat to a reasonable cost compared to inside the walls. -
