  We had to cancel our original two nights hotel booking in Banff due to the Hwy 1 road closure caused by the disastrous flooding. We had to change our itinerary and travel through Red Deer to get to Jasper/Banff. We were so glad that we booked into The Hidden Ridge Resort instead (the hotel previously booked and cancelled didn't have a vacancy on t... o que as pessoas dizem » he new dates)! A beautiful mountain cottage/chalet setting with a stunning view, a spacious and very well equipped one bedroom apartment was a nice ch - The view from the hot tub and warm pool. The staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. The condo was lovely too! The kitchenette was a great thing to have to cook our own food and the BBQ was very nice to use. The inexpensive long distance phone fee was awesome as was the free parking and free shuttle bus into Banff (not to mention the free coffee and hot chocolate in the lounge/lobby all day)

  Right from the minute we walked into the Georgetown Inn, we felt completely at ease and in awe of the homey décor. Stephanie at the front desk was welcoming and informative about all the questions we put to her. Our room was lovely and absolutely spotless. Had a delicious meal at the pub in the hotel. I have told our family and friends, what a wonderful place it is to stay at. - Stephanie welcomed us at the desk and provided the info we needed to make our stay comfortable. When we told her we had stayed at the Inn several times, she surprised with complimentary breakfast. Very pet friendly as this was our first experience having our pet in a hotel. Great place

  We enjoyed our stay very much. This hotel is pet friendly (with no size restriction - we have a 100 lbs dog) which is hard to find ($25 extra per night - standard rate for having a pet). Units are clean and fairly roomy. You can have up to 6 people for the same cost, which is great (2 bedroom townhouses so 2 people would have to use the pullout co... o que as pessoas dizem » uch in this case). The units are fairly dated so if you're looking for new televisions, appliances, etc then this isn't for you. They have appliances - We happened to be stranded in the inn during the recent flooding in Alberta, roads leading to and from Harvie Heights were blocked and water supply to the lodge was cut. The manager Paul was so kind to provide us with bottled water and kept us informed of the situation of the floodings and the road conditions continously. When the road going into Canmore was finally reopened, he volunteered to look for us alternatibe accommodation with water supply. He even reduced the room rate to compens
