Everything is good! The staff is perfect, very kind and very helpful. The hotel is super great, very clean, the rooms are super spacious and beautiful, and we booked for a simple standard room, and when we arrived, we were upgraded to Queen Room ! The hotel is very nice and well located! People working there is very
nice. You have to ask for new rooms. When we got there they gave us the
key of an old one and it was awfull. No fridge, old tv'S... So we
asked for an upgrade. Then the room was much nicer, but we had to pay
extra money fot that. It looks like 2 different hotels, you have to ask
for the new part.

The view from the hot tub and warm pool. The staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. The condo was lovely too! The kitchenette was a great thing to have to cook our own food and the BBQ was very nice to use. The inexpensive long distance phone fee was awesome as was the free parking and free shuttle bus into Banff (not to mention the free coffee and hot chocolate in the lounge/lobby all day)

The welcome and organisation was great. the fabulous breakfast and the feeling that you were in a home from home with none of the work! Convenient location, comfortable room, quiet, pleasant and helpful front desk staff. The hotel met my needs as I stayed only briefly. If I was planning to stay longer or had small children with me, I would have wanted to have a car, as the hotel is situated in a high traffic, fairly remote location for a pedestrian/bus rider. -

We love what Douglas Fir has to offer our two Granddaughters in terms of facilities(the pool, hot tub and play park).
We had a one bedroom chalet which was perfect for us and Douglas Fir provided a playpen and highchair, which meant we did not have to pack them in the car.

The Waterslides and Indoor Playground were BIG hits with the kids!! The fireplace and free wood were most welcome. The surprisingly convenient and well-stocked store on site was also a welcome convenience. The full kitchen and nearby parking were very handy. The location is far enough from town that it is quiet at night, but a close bus ride, short drive, or half hour walk away from the Resort.

It was close to the town but was quiet and peaceful although there were
plenty of amenities if you wanted to make use of them. It would be a
great place for families and was comfortable and clean. The staff were
great and really helpful we were missing out tv remote and a member of
staff brought one straight away when we called the reception. Breakfast
was tasty and again the staff were friendly and helpful.

The facilites were fabuluous and the staff was very accomodating. The location was perfect since our trip centered around Banff and Lake Louise. Staying in Canmore was more afforadble and allowed us to sightsee a bit more on the way to our destinations. -

The location, the staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious, there was a DVD player in our room, the kitchenette was well furnished. They even delivered a copy of the bill directly to our room for review, so we only needed to stop at the front desk for a minute. -
