The greeting we received when we arrived was very welcoming - this 'set the scene' for our experience of the hotel. We had hired a car for our exploration of the area, so were very glad that there was plenty of parking space. The room was spacious and very clean. It was a very easy walk to Menin Gate and to the town itself! We have been traveling around Europe for a month & stayed in many hotels - the Hotel Ariane was one of the best. Very well presented guest house and bedroom with a lovely shared living space above. Very comfortable bed and nice hot powerful shower. The host was lovely and gave us plenty of suggestions of places to visit while in Bruges. Location was a short walk from the main square. Breakfast seemed a little expensive but there was a lot of food laid out beautifully and the option to take away food for later in the day.
