The building is very beautiful, as is the town of Mechelen. The location is great, 10-minute walk to the train station and close to restaurants and shops etc. The rooms are stunning, spacious and clean. The beds are extremely big and comfy. centrally located so walking everywhere was a breeze. Gorgeous converted
church with original altar in the dining area combining historic and
modern architecture seamlessly. Well stocked breakfast area including
champagne. Room was on the top floor in the chapel with a window looking
on the large stained glass rose window.

The most cozy place I have been for ages! Central location in Mechelen (only two train stations from Brussels), still quite as rooms are positioned in a backyard, very nice people, beautiful decorated place with large rooms and luxurious breakfast. -

Having tried many hotels in Mechelen, and needing to stay when a
conference was one, I booked this hotel. I arrived late in the evening,
but my key and paperwork were ready, so I was able to nip into the
dining room before it closed. The menu is small, but has some unusual
items to try. The meals I have were great, and well presented.
