pleasantly surprised! Lady on reception very helpful and friendly, told
her we were visiting for the penguin parade and she helped us out with
directions and times and a few tips for the trip! Penguin parade is a

On arrival we were warmly greeted and directed to a very comfortable room. We spent a pleasant 2 nights in the motel. All the staff were helpful especially directing us to Cape Otway where we were able to see koalas in their natural environment. What a sight. Apollo Bay halfway along the GOR so an ideal stopping off point. -

The hotel is in a good location just a very quick walk from town but with great water views that many other motels lacked and no noise from tourists and traffic etc.
We liked the comfy but firm bed...great for our backs and sound sleep

Breakfast was delciious and very reasonably priced! My room was at the front of the property near the road but noise was minimal (quieter than my own home!). Would DEFINITELY stay there again! -

I just wanted to say thank you to the staff at Punthill in Chinatown. They were just fantastic...nothing was too much for them and they were incredibly helpful at all times. The cottage was well located, in walking distance between two villages. Although a basic old cottage, it was well appointed and provisioned. The bed was very comfortable, the spa and fireplace were lovely romantic features. There was more birdsong than traffic noise.

On first impression the apartment was good and quite good value. I would
stay there again but the apartment is in need of refurbishing and

Enjoyed the stay with my partner, my sister and cousins. Mark and his wife were lovely hosts very accomodating very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms were clean and neat very cosy and comfy. Easy access to the town enjoyed walking around. Overall very organised and we will definately be back.

Liked the country feel of the accommodation, out of the city but still close enough should we need anything. Loved the peacocks roaming around free. Free wi-fi is also good. Handy to Lake Hume (i.e. right there) for summertime, and in nicer weather the mini-golf would be fun.
