The staff was great! Nancy at the bar was terrific! Our room was clean and everyone on staff was very friendly and had great suggestions. It was the perfect little break from the big city. The room was very clean and kept that way by the housekeeping staff when we were gone for the day. The bathroom was nice with quiet flushing toilets. Elevator was nice for our large suitcase. Continental breakfast just the right amount and satisfying. -

magnificent room. We saw pictures, but were still surprised how
beautiful the hotel, and especially the room was, when we arrived. One
of the nicest rooms ever.. Great Location, Mountain rising right from

My husband and I pulled up and thought what a cute place and was greeted by the friendly and helpful woman behind the desk. I assume she was the owner/manager. We were allowed to check in early as our room was ready and it was small but clean and nicely decorated. The Admiral is close to town so we walked everywhere. The pool was perfect. Small but heated clean with some shade for those who want it. At night the place is all lit up and looks beautiful. Wouls highly recommend to others.

After arriving by car and experiencing a not too helpful doorman, I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite. I had not complained about schlepping my bags from my car by myself, but someone must have noticed. The room was a good size for NYC. Hotel was a block from Grand Central Terminal, super for subway and subway shuttle to Times Square! The restautant on site was nice, good food, out door seating. Because it was on 44th, and blocked by the terminal, the street was REALLY quiet. Toiletries and hair dryer and iron all good, no need to pack yours! -

I liked the fact that the room and bathroom were very clean and well kept. For New York City the size and price of the hotel room were also exceptional, especially when looking at some of the other hotels in the area. All of the staff, including the restaurant, were helpful and friendly and eager to serve. Everything is in walking distance.

The concierge was very helpful, and the cleaning staff even took the trouble to put fresh ice in our ice bucket, where I was trying to keep a container of yogurt fresh. We booked initially for the location and were amazed at how many other benefits there were to staying at The Michaelangelo.
