A 40-minute drive from New Forest National Park, Green Lane Bed and Breakfast is also just 5 minutes’ drive from Old Sarum, the ancient site of the original cathedral, home to Helena of Aquitaine.

Delicious breakfast, very nice hosts, very nice small room (twin beds) and stylish new bathroom. Everything is very very clean. The B&B is located in the countryside near Salisbury (so it's really quiet, wonderful!), by car just about 10 Minutes max. to the center of Salisbury.
Thus a car is useful, although there is a bus station not far away.
Quite comfortable: the B&B is near Old Sarum and on the way to Stonehenge. We walked to Old Sarum, which was nice not to do everything by car.

We loved everything. Mandi was a gracious, generous, and caring hostess, excellent cook, and great housekeeper. Green Lane is conveniently located, yet in a great country setting. We liked being able to walk around the little village of Ford with its pretty houses in its quiet neighborhood and its location near a small airfield where we saw sky divers enjoying their outings. This is an amazing place with big value and very accepting of visitors. We liked the safe and adequate parking which isn'.
Walking distance from GA friendly airfield of Old Sarum.Spectacularly clean bathroom. Comfy bed. Quiet. Friendly hosts. Restful decor. Tray of goodies plus fresh milk offered instantly.Tasty breakfast with toast arriving when needed and freshly cut selection of fruit all served rather early at our request. If you are very lucky you will eat an egg produced outside your window. Would book again with pleasure.
I wish every B&B was of the standard of Green Lane. From the welcome to the goodbye, the owners were friendly without being intrusive. Cleaniless was outstanding. Bed comfortable and linen crisp and clean. Quiet location, yet only minutes drive into the centre of Salisbury. Great find.
The whole place was immaculately clean, recently refurbished, with cosy bedroom & spotless modern bathroom & shower. The couple running it were very friendly, and the English breakfast was excellent. Outstanding value for money. Highly recommended.
Everything was of a very high standard. Would recommend to friends and family as somewhere to stay whilst visiting Salisbury and area.

the rural location with the plus of being less than 10 minutes from Salisbury centre. The room was excellent plus a luxury bathroom (better than some hotels!!). Breakfast first class as were owners. A gem of a find!!.
Loved having tea and biscuits in our room when we arrived. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was lavish and the breakfast conversation with other guests all sharing the same dining room table was great fun.
Nice countryside feel even if just outside Salisbury. Nice friendly couple who provided excellent info about the area. Made dinner reservation for us. Well decorated and good space bedroom and bathroom.
Absolutely great place to stay at. The owner is a very nice woman who offered us a huge tasty breakfast. The room was very clean. The bathroom has floor heating which is handy in such cold season.
