Room was very clean and quiet with a comfortable bed and a beautiful view. The owner was pleasant and helpful (allowed me to leave my backpack after checkout time on my last day, since I had an evening train). Within easy walking distance (less than a mile) of the town center and train station. Very good value for the money, especially in summer in a big tourist destination like Salisbury. I also appreciated the addition of a teapot to the usual teamaking facilities. wszystkie opinie »
This is a lovely little hotel with a very warm and cosy atmosphere. Terry is a friendly and polite host who cares for his guests very much (for example: offers an umbrella when it rains). Both my room and the bathroom were spotless clean. I really enjoyed my stay at the White Lodge very much, and I will recommend this hotel to my friends. Also, I would love to stay there again next time, if possible...
Room was spacious, well-equipped and comfortable - in fact more comfortable than my room at home! Friendly host and the place was clean and well-maintained; good value for money overall. Really enjoyed my stay there and would definitely recommend this place.
Room was very comfortable. Terry, the host was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and also very large. There are a couple of good takeaways and a really good pub about a 5 minute walk away, plus it's only a 10 minute walk into Salisbury.
Big, comfy room. Despite it being on a busy roundabout, it was very well sound-proofed, traffic noise was minimal. The owner, Terry, was an excellent host - friendly and helpful. Can't fault it at all and it was an absolute bargain.
This accommodation is absolutely charming - ancient, traditional, dusty, inhabited with old stories and spirits, very affordable and comfortable, nice one-man-staff. Definitely to be recommended.
We felt like staying at home. Terry is just a sweet guy and do everything he can to make our visit memorable. It's a perfect choice if you re planning to go to salisbury-Stonehenge.
Traditional bed and breakfast a short walk from town. Great value for money with a nice host. Parking and a good size room. Will stay again next time i need to overnight.
Terry, the host, welcomed us warmly. He prepared a good, rich breakfast in the morning. His little hotel is nice and clean and worth to recommend to other travellers.
The owner is the friendliest person I've ever met, pleasant and very welcoming. Simplistic but functional, comfortable and most off very close to city centre.
The owner was very friendly and helpful. He even made us sandwiches and didn't charge for them! The room was clean and comfy, and there were things for tea.
The location, closeness to the city centre. The B&b has old world charm and the host was friendly and helpful.
Terry is very friendly and accommodating clean and tidy b and b in good location just on edge of town.
Friendly budget accommodation. Nice breakfast. Friendly and honest. Great value for Salisbury.
the host is so friendly and the room is very clear and comfortable. and there is free wifi.
Spotlessly clean. Quiet. Comfortable. Well maintained. Friendly.
Comfortable, close to town, good breakfast, helpful staff.
Very friendly and sympathetic.
As this place is right on a busy road junction, I was afraid it would be noisy, but fortunately the windows are well insulated, so noise not intrusive.
Good price.
Good, clean, basic accommodation, modestly priced. Overall good value for money.
Very friendly and quiet.i would use it again.
The land lord was very helpful.
- It's budget
- Clean
- Walking distance to Salisbury (approx 20 minutes).
The location does require crossing a busy road, though there is an underpass and a stop-lighted crossing, so it's really not a big issue.
It was a little bit busy getting out in the morning, but not a massive problem, you just need a little patience.
Can't check in until 5pm.
Sharing the bathroom with 2 other rooms. But even that works fine.
The location is tricky to find. It is right by the roundabout, and the sign is very small. We drove by it once without even seeing it, and almost missed it the second time.
I would have thought the breakfast would have been included, but not a big issue, most mornings we were gone early anyway.
Nothing.
the location is a little bit far away from the train station.
Some traffic noise in road-facing rooms.
Access to car park is difficult due to location right on the roundabout. Can really only be approached from one direction.
The bed matters was uncomfortable. The head room in the bathroom was limited.
- Beware: Very late check-in! You are not welcome before 17.00
- Parking kan be a challenge (not much space AND located on a corner w/traffic lights, so cars are lined up in front of the driveway most of the time)
- Owner is not very helpful. It seems like he is not enjoying being of service.
