was well presented, very clean and a good size. The little extra touches

Very good location in terms of access to Oxford centre and country
walks. The accommodation is excellent, the room and ensuite was
exceptionally clean and well appointed. It is evident that the hotel is
well maintained and a great deal of time/effort has been taken to
ensure that it is of the highest standard. The food whas extraordinary
good and The Bells have a great Chef. The staff are very, very, very
friendly and made every effort to make our short stay an enjoyable one.

We stayed in 'Robin' which is a specious room with a very comfortable bed. It was warm and cosy, I had a great nights sleep.

The hotel was charming and inviting. The location was perfect for us. I was traveling with my daughter visiting another child that is taking a gap year and is in the Oxford Tutorial College. she was able to get to us and we got around the town wonderfully. The staff were all helpful and informative. The environment was cozy and warm which was greatly appreciated because the weather was chilly and wet. Would definitely recommend to others.

We enjoyed our stay at Fairlawns. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. We were given a room in the gardens because we had our small dog with us and this was perfect for us, the room had everything we needed and it was cosy in the cold weather we were having.

Excellent dinner and lunch. The food was piping hot, which was much appreciated and the lunch menu was adjusted to meet our personal choices and was all we could wish for. We met some Canadian cousins for the first time and it was a wonderful spot to meet up for lunch on the side of the Thames with them. We received a warm welcome from Dan and the rest of the staff that we encountered on our one night stay. We booked a classic room and was allocated 'The Pit' which was a very pretty, clean and well presented room. Good pub food in the evening and an excellent breakfast with lots of choices. Highly recommended for some country style R&R!!
