  Surprisingly large room. Comfortable bed with choice of pillows. Beefeater restaurant had excellent quality food, good choices and excellent service. Overall good value. The bathroom was impeccably clean and the whole building looked well cared for. The countryside location would be very attractive in Spring and summer.   Very well situated, easy to find. Stafff were very pleasent and helpful. The beds in the twin room were very comfortable. The Bumble Bee pub next door was very convient and excellent food. - friendly staff and on noticing my wife has walking limitations they relocated us to the ground floor. Also the pub /restaurant next door very good.

  We found the staff to be extremely friendly and a credit to the hotel.the ambience was brilliant with a nice aspect with a grand view across the Cotswolds carry on the good work - You were not rushed for breakfast or to vacate the room. One of our group enjoyed the hotel so much they extended there break for another 2 weeks and would have extended it longer had it not been for some planned refurbishment work. Beautiful surroundings and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. The food was also superb. The weather was also glorious so lots of al fresco eating and croquet!

The hotel itself was situated in a fantastic spot, right in the centre of Stow on the Wold which was a very pretty and lovely town.
