My room was very nice - included a hair dryer, iron, ironing board, etc. It was a single room with a single bed - exactly what I needed - no space wasted.   The staff were all very nice and friendly. The hotel is very close to the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases, which is why we chose it. My wife is an outpatient at this hospital, and disabled. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful.   Lovely large room with huge bathroom, the freestanding bath was a really nice feature, the only problem being inadequate lighting in the bedroom area - lovely lamps etc but I couldn't see what I was getting out of my case properly!!.   The Kennard is absolutely exceptional!! It was by far the best place we stayed in during a 10 days trip to London and South-England. The extremely friendly owners run the hotel by creating a very warm and welcoming athmosphere.
