  Our accommodation was actually a townhouse over 3 storeys just yards offthe royal mile. It was fantastic-clean and well equipped and would nothesitate to recommend it. In fact we plan to use it again very soon. Very good self catering facilities. The flat was provided with clean towels and hair dryers for each room. It even had sky tv. Walking distance to royal mile and the castle. The staff was very attentive and courteous. Enjoyed the stay, I would highly recommend.

  Everything. The facilities are complete and well-maintained. Very clean and really good location. We actually extended our stay because we were very happy with the place. Although parking is not available, the parking off restriction after 630pm helps, right at the door step.   We've stayed at Hotel Indigo in Glasgow which is fabulous and the Edinburgh one did not disappoint either. I believe it's only around 1 year old and this is evident in the decor of the hotel and the cleanliness - the rooms were immaculate! They are installing tram lines in the street but it still has access if you are arriving by car or taxi. Its a short walk to Waverly Station and all main tourist attractions can be reached by foot if you like to walk. Room was excellent, breakfast was great. Did not try the restaurant at night but menu looked good and fairly priced. Staff were all very friendly and attentive. A little bit pricey but for a stay during the Festival it was fairly priced compared to other optio
